ABOUT ME

I started out my journey into nutrition education due to my personal history of growing up with a poor diet, and the following years of health issues, food allergies, and autoimmune disease. I struggled for years trying to find answers through doctors, naturopaths, books, and research articles. It all boiled down to diet, and the way we can shape our health and support our microbiome through daily food choices. After spending 20 years working in organic agriculture, food production, landscaping, and with regenerative garden inoculants, I decided to go back to school to pursue an education that would allow me to help others on their path to optimal health through nutrition. I attended the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR and graduated in 2023 with a Master of Science in Nutrition. I have been trained to assess and address the dietary aspects of disease management, and have been educated in health and nutrition, food psychology, clinical nutrition, health coaching, evidenced-based research methods, immunology, microbiome health, HIPAA regulations, and more.

Outside of work: I currently live in rural Oregon with my awesome partner and our two kitties. We have a large homestead garden and focus on growing, storing, and fermenting food to enjoy throughout the year.

Iā€™d love to work with you to find your path to improved nutrition and health.
